bologna Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Nice to hear they are starting to move up. Can't wait to take my canoe to Taylor bridge in a week or two.
trythisonemv Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 How far is Aldrich on the river from taylor?
bologna Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Taylor is a several miles or so upstream from Aldrich. If you look on google maps it's the 2 nd bridge above river from the 123 bridge at Aldrich. Sac river road
trythisonemv Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I know where Taylor is. I have never been to Aldrich though. Farthest I've been is the old bridge where you walk over the river on planks. Ty
Members Will croskey Posted March 12, 2015 Members Posted March 12, 2015 What were they biting on crappieT?
Members anfisherman Posted March 12, 2015 Members Posted March 12, 2015 Atta you can fish Aldrich with your boat but unless we get some more rain you won't make it to Taylor's unless the water level is up from what it was last week.
Members CrappieCole Posted March 12, 2015 Members Posted March 12, 2015 I've seen people with pontoons up there before. Waters gotta be up though
Members crappieT Posted March 12, 2015 Author Members Posted March 12, 2015 yeah water level very low and dirty. i would fish banks with sun/breeze all day and personally like chunky rock areas. Using white/chartreuse grub and milky salt & pepper grub
