First of all i have never been trout fishing but watching the cam is about to cause a rush trip to bass pro for a fly rod and some gear to give it a try, second and this may be a silly question, but i noticed some bottom feeders there haven't seen them real up close but they don't appear to be carp because of their shate, are they maybe suckers?? just curious.

:P Great Idea. Have you concidered adding a light to the cam? And is the cam pointing out to the lake, up stream or down stream. I tried to view with Firefox but the cam would not load up, even though I have no problem viewing the lake cam with Firefox!!.

AMC wish I had more time to visit and fish.

Because they're not running much water right now the water along the bank gets merky- and there's algea growing on top of the water around the cleaning shack blocking sunlight- double-whammy! We had a light early in the year but it didn't make a whole lot of difference.

No need to go to Bass Pro, Phil has everything you need at great prices right at Lillys.

I was fortunate to be watching it at work with a fellow co-worker and then....

The camera begins MOVING :o !

Someone brought it out of the water and into the shed to wipe the lens off. I gathered 3-4 others around me just to watch it. TMC, I've never been able to make it work with Firefox although I'm sure they have a plug in somewhere just for this purpose.

BTW--you get an amazing frame rate out of your webcam. What kind of bandwidth are you using to pump the video out?

When I click on the link for the trout cam all I get is a blank page with a link to look at "lake cam too". Am I doing something wrong?

I would rather be fishin'.

There are 1000+ members on this site, and only 50 or so can view the cam at a time, correct? I've been trying for a few days, and still can't get it to work. I have Windows media player 10, Internet Explorer, and a DSL connection. I'm wondering what else I can do to get this to work.

Kayser--

Keep hitting the play button and it will usually connect after a couple of trys. I don't believe I've ever had it connect on the first time I mash the button.

(Sound of Ticking Clock) After five straight minutes, I decide to get lunch, come back and try again. Hopefully it will work then.
