perchjerker Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Gosh I never caught one of these football trout in Taney. Do they fillet out like a bass ?? :-)
davekeim Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 I'm still waiting for a trout the size of a football. Collinsville, just across the river from where I'm at! 10-15 minutes away. Abdito! Another Beautiful Day In The Ozarks
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 22, 2007 Root Admin Posted January 22, 2007 I almost walked away from the game after the first half... glad I didn't. Great game. The teams I would like to see in the SB made it- cool. Should be a good game.
Thom Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The midwest in the World Series playoffs in baseball and the Midwest in the Superbowl. What a catastrophe! What will the New York and California newspapers and television stations talk about? I guess they will have to dig up some Yankee stories and Giant comments from Peyton's brother. Interesting that Good Morning America bearly mentionted the World Series Champion Cardinals the day after they won the series. Kind of dull to see classy coaches not throwing fits about the calls on the fields and talking to their players like gentlemen rather than Idoits. Ain't we spoiled her in the Heartland? Excuse me! I mean aren't we spoiled? Thom Harvengt
Greg Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I'm not a huge football fan (basketball is my thing) but both games were great. It was nice to take a break from tree trimming and clean up. The 2nd game was just awesome. I kind of like Peyton Manning and I was glad to see him get the monkey off his back regarding poor performances in the playoffs. The superbowl should be good. Members Fozzy Posted January 22, 2007 Members Posted January 22, 2007 Go COLTS......Thank god the Patriots got beat....I'm so sick of that team .....Nice to see somebody else get into the big game. I'm happy for Chicago, however was pulling for New Orleans....i figured they couldn't beat Chicago at Soldier Field in the weather. Should be interesting...
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 My teams didn't make it to the playoffs! But I'm glad to see da'bears and the colts in it. My daughter-in-law is a die hard Colts fan so you know who I'm root'in for . . . . GO BEARS! John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM

Kansas Fly Fisher Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Oh Leonard!? I'll put up some of my "firehouse poppers" against your seahorses that the Bears come out on top. Of course we'd have to swap these over something cold to drink and some good fishin! Bears - 17, Colts - 13 John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
