Members aj1980 Posted March 15, 2015 Members Posted March 15, 2015 Anyone have any info on where the cats are biting?
Members ALLSTAR1 Posted March 15, 2015 Members Posted March 15, 2015 No info on Missouri but if you are out west, my brother said the bite was on at Clinton Lake near Lawrence Kansas. He got his limit of 3-6 # ers in an hour. Could not keep 3 poles baited.
wuteversbitin424 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 They should begin to start up on stockton soon...i saw a 6-7lb channel caught friday and heard of a couple more caught that day...the rivers at stockton will be first...i start catching them on the rocks in late april but they will go to the flats on warm days prior to spawning
Members steven1231 Posted March 17, 2015 Members Posted March 17, 2015 If you want to catch some good catfish your best bet would be Truman, or lake of the ozarks. Use cut bait. Perch works best for us, live bait for flat heads if your using jugs fish them ten foot in about 20 to 30 feet of water.
Roger Craig Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I have managed to find a cpl places on TR to bank fish for cats. During the spring I tear em up around Cricket Creek, between marina and swimming beach. Tad early for them, believe the are the last to spwn in the higher water temps, 65-70? A few my last trip last year.
