kjackson Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Like you need another rod kjackson. You're as rod poor as Cabelas itself. Speaking of poor. We need to make a trip soon. I would say, "Know a good guide?", but I don't want to offend anyone. I'm available, and I can drive now, so no need for the limo service.
Tanderson15 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm going to try BB tommorow PC to the dam. About mid March has been good to me in the past 3 years according to my fishing log. I'll like ya all know it went. Probably should not have posted this now but now I'll fish harder. J-Doc I have that chartreuse stuff you use.
Tanderson15 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Nathanhooper what was water color and was there many floaters.
nathanhooper Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 I only fished up the back half of Indian creek, but it was a lot more stained than last week. Warmer too, 50 on the main lake and 52 back in the shallows(~12') Buddy of mine fished "closer" to the dam than me. Pulled up a smallie, and a Walter in 12' FOW. We both only fished a few hours. Good luck, hope it produces for you.
nathanhooper Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Oh, there were a few floaters, but nothing too bad. And if I was calling a color, I'd say murky green. Doesn't really seem 'muddy' to me. I'll pay more attention next time.

Just for that you're not allowed to bring aboard 400lbs of gear next trip. kjackson 1 Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! kjackson Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 If you'd share, I wouldn't have to. However, next time, I will remember the secret weapons instead of leaving them at home. J-Doc 1
Tanderson15 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I used his secret wpns today but when I was in shallow water (8ft) I blew my transducer off. Be careful.
