Well I got to the water about 11:30am... and fished till close to 4pm

3 units on... although they did drop it alittle, but in about 30 minutes it came back up

well with only a few place to fish from.. I went to chute 2..

started with a scud and sj worm dropper.. picked up 2.. the changed to a roo bug (#12).. with a roo dropper (#14)... with about 30 minutes I caught about 12-15 fish.. and had a couple hooked that could have went a good 20"...

well then they slow down again... so I put on a peach egg.. caught 4...

switched again.. this time to a "new roo" (some thing Jeremy Hunt helped with)... WOW does it work!!

I think he tyed it up in a size 16.. well I fished it for about 30 minutes... hooked into a really big bow (24-25" on the small side).. it was a MONSTER.. well with the rookie daytime fisher that I am.. it ended up being "an up close and personal, But dont touch me release", as I was reaching for the line it flipped the hook at me and straight into the back of my hand..

NOTE: when fishing big flies debarb your hooks!! in comes out easier...mine was... ;)

well after that I decide to go back to the double roo.. finishing off the day at chute 2 with somewhere around 25-30 fish...

all in all a good day..

One reason to ALWAYS wear glasses when fly fihing. I have had the fly pull out and hit my glasses on a few occasions. Rather pull out of the hand than from the Eyeball!!!!!

Good report Leonard.

Quick question: How much precipitation did you get down there this weekend? Looks like the lake levels and flow are dropping. Later this week might not be too bad for some fishing.
