canoe race fund raiser (I konw it is not fishing)

2nd ANNUAL GREAT 11 POINT RIVER CANOE RACE. I am excited to officially announce that we be will having the 2nd annual canoe race on Sat Sept 26, hosted by the Eleven Point Canoe Rental and the Friends of the Eleven Point River. There is a printable sign up sheet you can use or you can call me to ask questions @ 417-778-6497 and sign up that way. Just as we did last year, this race will also raise money for the GREER MILL restoration. Every person's entry fee will be all inclusive, including a donation to the mill project via Friends of the Eleven Point River and 5 $1raffle tickets.. Between the donation and the raffle tickets, that means a total of $25 of each person's entry fee will go straight to the mill project. Entry fees are $90/person. Also included will be a BBQ, beer/soda(post race only),live music, camping (space limited at canoe rental) and use of one of our canoes or shuttle of one of yours. The race will be from Greer to Riverton (2o miles) and for those who want to enter but don't want to race, a fun float from Whitten to Riverton will start soon after the start of the race. Please consider coming out for a great time that supports a great cause. Also, this is not the most serious of races, so all skill levels of paddlers are encouraged to participate!
