Members fishman783 Posted March 18, 2015 Members Posted March 18, 2015 Was able to get out in the morning for 2 hours, caught one keeper smallie and a keeper eye, went back out for a couple of hours in the afternoon and was able to catch another keeper smallie a nice eye and a nice 5.5lb Largemouth. All on slow rolled swim baits. J-Doc 1
J-Doc Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I'd say that was a great day considering a few hours invested. Some folks haven't been getting a single bite lately. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Quillback Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 For sure a great day - heck I'd be happy just to catch one of those smallies pictured above.
YAKFM Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I'd say that was a great day considering a few hours invested. Some folks haven't been getting a single bite lately. And those folks are likely fishing the upper end of the lake. Tough fishing up river the past week or so with the influx of mud and debris. The positive fish reports (for eyes and bass) are coming from the lower half of the lake it seems.
