jolicious Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 As Phil said in another post, READ THE FORUM the question may have been answered... and in this case there is multiple topics and threads on the question currently going.Gotcha. The old "Read more - Post less" advice. Wise man, you are...
Guest Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I picked out a Megabass 110 Elegy Bone at southtown & put it back today. I sunk that $25 into Keitech swimbaits instead. Now, I might go back & buy it. Lol Thanks for posted a good report.
JohnF52 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Those megabass lures look a lot like the old Rebel floating minnow lures from about 1975.
jolicious Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 You can buy blanks online for about $3 delivered. Might have $5-$6 in one after paint, hooks, split rings, clear coat. It's cool to catch fish on stuff you've painted. It's REALLY cool when your friends finish high in tourneys lures you give to them too!
Members fishman783 Posted March 22, 2015 Author Members Posted March 22, 2015 Did not fish above marker 5, water temps varied from 47-49, saw some 50 on Wednesday. I could see bottom in 15 ft of water. Most fish were caught close to creek and main river channel swings
Members fishman783 Posted March 22, 2015 Author Members Posted March 22, 2015 I would definitely spend more time with the kietechs less bites but quality of fish were much better than the megabass 110
