Sac River Jim Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 drove down to springfield cove and get a nice mess off the bank down at the end of the boat docks on the point leading into the little pockets. lake still needs to come up before it gets good in there.
Members Shad Ball Buster Posted March 23, 2015 Members Posted March 23, 2015 Thanks for all the updates im pretty excited about tomorrow, so glad I found this forum
Members Curtlow Posted March 23, 2015 Members Posted March 23, 2015 Put in at CC and ran up the lake close to shaw bluff to a cove will lots of standing timber in it. Caught 10 keeper crappie and 2 whites. All on 2" electric chicken shadpoles. Same as poster above, all still suspended in middle of cove about 10' down. Water was 56 at mouth of cove but climbed up to 59 towards the back.
smbasser Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Those are.from this year??????? BC you're not catching them doesn't mean others aren't. Maybe you should ask your dad where he caught his limit? Bass are very active right now. Up the rivers they are hitting a wiggle wart but on main lake I would throw a jerkbait. Walleye are still out deeper with the last 3 nights catching 2 an evening. Maybe I just suck but I think BC we know its warm the fish don't think the same way
Aggressor1988long Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Exactly right smbasser I was up in sons creek Saturday couldnt get a hit a ned rig or woggle wart, whats up am I losing my mojo?
smbasser Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Solo series this weekend took 18 lbs out of 84 boats. Lot of fish to catch up the rivers with the bigger fish coming from the clear, cooler water
Aggressor1988long Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Now im going to finish my post those crappie look way more healthy and cleaner that last year's crappie!!!
MeatintheFreezer Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 They were all good healthy crappie, I only had to measure a few of them. 90% females, but eggs are still quite a ways off. Sac River Jim- If you were fishing that cove, you can see the water that everyone one of these came from. Remember - If at first you DO succeed, try not to act surprised & quit while you're ahead.
