Members edwards6717 Posted April 5, 2015 Members Posted April 5, 2015 Me and a buddy caught 6 in about an hour last night at Shoals motel. 4 smaller, but keeper males, and 2 in the 40-50 lb range. Water was up and rolling swift and muddy. Few places to stand on the bank due to the water level, but they were there.
Hog Wally Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Dang!!! This is good info to go on. I'm thinking of wednesday putting boat in at gelena and run up and down to find some.
Fishslayer88 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 It's still a little brown but it is dropping fast. I walked back up to Taylor Shoal and caught 2 and 2 more popped off. A guy at the ramp said he saw some people cleaning a few at Hooten Town today.
Fishslayer88 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I have pics but Photobucket and tapatalk dont work for me.
Members Matt King Posted April 6, 2015 Members Posted April 6, 2015 I ended up getting 2 down around point 15, both sublegal fish, one male and one female. Still fun none the less
Members Schenk781 Posted April 6, 2015 Author Members Posted April 6, 2015 Thinkin taylor shoal tomorrow afternoon
Fishslayer88 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Probably be a waste of time for spoonbill unless the water comes back up. Fishing was really slow there yesterday.
Members steven1231 Posted April 6, 2015 Members Posted April 6, 2015 Is anyone catching white bass or is it still to muddy
Members Schenk781 Posted April 6, 2015 Author Members Posted April 6, 2015 Thanks slayer, whats your outlook on them making it further up to nixa or even to the dam?
