There was a man cleaning a few at Hooten Town yesterday idk how far he had to run down to find them but they are on their way if the river comes up a few more times they may make it.

They should be getting close if the river comes up again I bet they will be there.

Well you think we'll get another good run next time it rains through blunks and on up.. Maybe this weekend of we get some rain like we're supposed to they'll move

We should. They are still catching them around walnut springs and point 15.

First time out for me this year: Went to walnut springs tonight, bumped a few, broke a reel... overall successful night (insert sarcasm) may try again later this week. Really wanting to get a couple for the smoker

Probably be a wasted trip. You would be very lucky to find one right now.

Saw one next to a log small one about halfway between blunks and the shoal water real clear, and hit one by the ramp it pulled a good bit of drag then got off. Caught some shad for the freezer for catfish bait though! Never a wasted trip when your fishing! Them spoonies may not be running but they can't disappear..
