Looking to fish this weekend in the Aldrich area from the bank. Is it better in the morning cold or after it warms up a bit?

Thanks for any input.

Ralda...now you got it with the cat fishin. Go to orleans bridge and throw worms or cut shad if you can get them. They should be tearin it up. Aldrich area might be good also? Good luck

I'll try the cut shad idea, I keep frozen shad in the freezer for just such an occasion (the wife hates it)...

Been fishing the white runs at stockton for 20yrs And high muddy water in the river makes it tough usually the guys that know where to find them are the only ones catching any. Ralda if you head to little sac youll find the whites in the mouths of feeder creeks up river. Fish the mouths of the creeks where the clearer waters coming into the river. Walnut creek by orleans is good, Eudora spring by taylor, and Slagle creek by 215. You can find them all on google earth and how to walk to the mouths.

I have been really busy the last part of the week. But I did go out with a buddy Wednesday. I had to promise I wouldn't tell where we went. But it was up in the main lake and we got into the whites. Limited out in less than 30 minutes. Mostly big sows. Looked like they were about to explode. Caught them on 1/8 oz white with red eyes jig head and lake fork baby shad with curly tail. Light blue and pearl belly. After I caught my limit I started changing colors and lures to see what would happen. No luck. But every time I went back to the other color started catching fish.
