bwcballer10 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Started fishing about 5:15 last night, right at 6:15 I hooked up with white number 15. Caught them all from the same pocket of slack water. Proceeded to see if I could pick up a walleye at 215 bridge, no luck. Still not many females in the fish I'm cleaning, just two from last nights bunch.
bs1827 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I also started fishing last night around 5:30pm and only ended up landing 5 fish during the 3 hours I was on the water. Released them all. Caught all of them on Clousers. Most were your average size Little Sac white, with one descent sized fish in the bunch. Most people I saw had a few dinks on their stringers, but didn't really see any big fish or big numbers. Saw one kid pull out about a 12-14'' walleye. Water level is about normal with a slight stain. If we could get some consistent weather for 2-3 days I would think it'll begin to pick up.
bologna Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Fished railroad bridge only one bite went to Taylor they are biting good right now.
bwcballer10 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Got my dad over there with me for the first time this year saturday evening. We put the canoe in at 215 and floated down to Taylor. Didn't start catching til we got to the railroad bridge but after that we picked up fish everywhere. We both had our limit within a couple of hours. I would say our fish were 60/40 male/female. I even picked up a nice bonus crappie and he caught his first ever little sac walleye (only took him 7 years of fishing it). Great day on the water with great company!
