Evolution Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 If you enjoy crappie fishing, NOW is the time to get after them, only one problem: shoulder to shoulder fishing as far as eyes can see. Unfortunately for me, I was trying to find the whites/hybrids but only managed a few whites, no hybrids. Unless we get a ton of rain to help create water release, whites/hybrid fishing will be spotty until topwater comes along which should be right around the corner. blacknoseddace 1
Seth Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Glad to hear that. We are leaving early Thursday to head up there and join the party. Do you think we could just leave the boat at home and walk across the old channel using the other boats as stepping stones?
blacknoseddace Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Sounds like the"frigid" Crappie finally woke up. I was there last week and the crappie were slow but the whites were on. I have caught a lot of hybrids up there with jigs but never got into the top water bite but would love to. The amount of fish in there is just mind-boggling. I hope you catch a bunch!
