Guest Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 The West Fork of the White River is very muddy & swift this morning. Watch out for logs & debris if you're going out today. It might be a good idea to scout your areas first, since they're likely muddy from this runoff. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ar/nwis/uv?cb_00065=on&cb_00060=on&cb_00010=on&cb_63680=on&format=gif_default&site_no=07048550&period=&begin_date=2015-04-07&end_date=2015-04-14 West Fork White River east of Fayetteville, AR Gage height, feet Most recent instantaneous value: 5.51 Discharge, cubic feet per second Most recent instantaneous value: 732 Turbidity, Most recent instantaneous value: 29
JohnF52 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Upper white at Elkins is moderately muddy and about 16 inches above what it was pre-rain. By Thursday, with no more rain, conditions should improve enough for good fishing. It has dropped significantly already. Phil Lilley 1
