Members breeves2245 Posted April 14, 2015 Members Posted April 14, 2015 I am in the same situation. New to Beaver Lake, so I have got two fishing guides lined up for Beaver in the next two weeks to give me an instructional guide trip on fishing Beaver in general and sonar will also be a primary focus. Got a new boat and have not bought electronics yet, so I want to understand what I need and how to read it once I get it. It ain't cheap paying for the guides, but I figure it's the fastest way to get to a decent understanding of the lake and sonar. Like the above posts say, watching Utube ain't the same as live experience.
J-Doc Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Sounds like a good plan breeves. Welcome!! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Tanderson15 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I like many would take you out free. If you want lowrance I could. I don't think guides can do any more. If new to the lake just ask. And welcome to Beaver.
