Bird Watcher Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Interesting. http://thestripedbasschallenge.com/index.html
drew03cmc Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Consider my interest piqued. I wonder why the lakes are all out east. Andy
J-Doc Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I didn't see a list of lakes. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Feathers and Fins Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Link to it doesn't work for me. But If the lakes are out East I can speculate it is because they already have tournaments for Stripers so the anglers and formats are more in place. I would say its a testing grounds for BPS to see if it can take off and if so it could spread. Based off experience though I doubt it, I have seen people try to start up these tournaments in the past but can never get them off the ground as the specialization in equipment and knowledge is not as well known for the average angler as BASS fishing is. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Bird Watcher Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Weird, They've taken the website down since yesterday. The tab you see called "maps" in the screenshot above showed a list of lakes they had identified as possible tourney sites. Mostly all the big striper lakes in the SE.
