merc1997 Bo Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 have not posted for a bit because of being too busy to go fishing, but got out last night from 7:30 to 11:30. did not catch one keeper until just before dark, and the bite was on. ended up with 12 keepes, and only two were in the 3lb. range. none of these bass had spawned or were even in the process. all were fat and slick, not a mark on them. did most of the damage on a 1/2 oz. Elite with brown and blue skirt, and solid blue trailer. steep banks were working, and most bites came from 8 to 12 ft. deep. surface temp was 64. someone that has a drop down temp told me that just a couple of days ago, they took the water temp. in the kings, and at 10ft. the temp was 55. good reason to think we may have some spawning still going on come the end of may. bo OldMillRoad and Hammer time 2
fishingaddiction Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Good info on the water temp reading at depth. Thanks for the report. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Guest Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 You would expect the full moon to send a big wave up shallow this weekend. But who knows keen obsevation on submerged water temps
Hammer time Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I found my fish in groups last night, once I got bit would have a flurry then nothing until I found them again. Same for you or were your fish scattered?
