Guest Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 It looks like Beaver will be very crowded on saturday. Something about this format doesn't sit well with me. (no livewell checks) I guess, I'm going to fish the Lost Bridge area in hopes the crowd stays down in the mid lake region. Anybody else going to be out fun fishing on beaver saturday?
Feathers and Fins Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Good luck with that, many will head to LB, Indian, Honey and Moulder. All well known tournament spots J-Doc 1 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
YAKFM Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 How many boats are they expecting for this tournament?
J-Doc Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 You're kidding right? 300-400?? Well this cements my plan for a late afternoon trip and night fishing trip. Yak....you in? :-) Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Guest Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Im guessing, but its seems like there are more than 200 at that deal.

Yak....you in? :-) Any number between 200 and 400 is a sizable tourney fishing crowd. Layer on top of that the non-tourney anglers, jet skis, wake boats, cig boats, and pontoon boats all coming out of hibernation and temps in the upper 70's through the weekend. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a massive water-craft hatch. After our bow surfing experience from the wake boat waves Saturday I am on board with weekday and night time fishing exclusively.

This sounds an awful lot like a nightmare.
Mike jones Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Word is they had over 300 boats last week. Sadly, a pretty good percentage of those boats are those folks that get out once a year to fish this deal.
jolicious Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Grand Lake's Falcon Rod challenge is this weekend - a nice escape - well, they have 500 boats entered also lol!!!
