after a great morning sunday and a fish fry with Darrell and Sherie, owners of pla-port and another friend and his wife, we went back out and caught 3 keepers that evening and had to work for them, but caught several smaller, Jerry, my fishing partner was catching them on the ned rig and I stuck with the shakey head. We seen a fair amount of top water action in this small arm we were in and threw a f-13 rapala and caught a few. Went out Monday morning with the same results, 3 keepers fishing with the same baits, not sure what arm you guys call this but it is the big arm between lunker landing and playport resort on same side of the lake, small section of it breaks off to the right as you go in, lot of bait fish in there, the wife and I had a great time, tried to hook up with champ and his wife at Dannas, I blame the mix up on my inability to use this dumb smart phone and googled the wrong location, we actually went by all 3 Dannas in one night,LOL, All in all we still had a great road trip that night and the food was good and the catfish was real good Donna, sorry we missed you guys but will try again next time, not sure when I will post another report as our vacation this year is a trip to Yellowstone park and into the State of Washington, Good fishing to all of you and if you guys have another fun tournamant next spring I look forward to coming down.
