Headed to Stockton lake with JWDBassin for a tournament tomorrow. looks like rain is moving in. anyone have any tips to throw at us who have fished before, during and after the rain storms? (how much the rain changes water color, best tip on bait selection, does it bring the bights to a halt? ) hope someone can throw some good info our way. Thanks!

wheres the tournament out of and is it day or night. alot of variables in what your asking but the main lake could use some color visibility some places is around 12'. carolina rig has been very consistent main lake points a shaky and wobble head had been good but didnt produce on tuesday secondary points and pockets.. guys are gearing up to throw a football jig and a blade is about all i can tell you. .

weve caught pre and post spawn fish on main lake points on the upper end above hawker point. seen several cruisers in spawning coves last week end. my opinion is the spawn it winding down upper end and still active towards the dam. i'd say mile long bridge to the darn big sac arm, state park marina to the dam little sac arm.

Thank you, I haven't made it down in a couple of weeks and noticed a lot of males guarding fry on a local lake. I primarily fish between the dam and hawker and the water was a few degrees cooler.

Thanks fellas, me and my teammate had a lot of success. Rain in the AM was when reeled in the most. Green color worm Texas rig was our go to. Couldn't resist. Most of our keepers were around 12-15 foot of water.
