Members Tarheel2288 Posted May 20, 2015 Members Posted May 20, 2015 Hello all. Some coworkers and I had a trip planned for the middle buffalo, but due to heavy rains the river was crazy high, so I came up with a contingency plan and we ended up floating the Current. We put in at Akers, camped overnight just down from Pulltite, and finished at Round Spring. The river was moving pretty fast (2.2 gauge height) which made it fun. Got to see some pretty cool scenery and catch some smallies. I'm glad we got to come down. Also, if you haven't got a chance to see the springs at Round Spring, they're breathtaking. awhuber 1
Dan the fisherman Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I love float the current.... I'm waiting on a clear stretch of weather to head out there. I'm wanting to do cedar grove to two rivers. Maybe 6-8 days of camping. Darn weather has kept me home though. Glad u guys did have to cancel ur tip.
