has anyone here traveled outside the US besides canada,or mexico to fish for black bass? if so I'd like to hear about it, thanks

I fished for largemouth at a large private lake in Zimbabwe...but a horrendous invasive aquatic plant that forms vast solid mats on the surface had apparently wiped out most if not all the bass. The year before I fished it, it was supposedly terrific fishing, with many double digit bass caught. Just my luck to be there a year late.

Not outside the U.S., but outside the continental U.S., I caught both largemouth and smallmouth in a river on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
