Wayne SW/MO Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 There's a now defunct magazine that carried a very interesting story by him about Smallmouth and their habits through the seasons. He even managed to locate them in the winter, in BS I presumed. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members hornyheadchub Posted February 5, 2007 Members Posted February 5, 2007 The thought of a sculpin eating a trout has never crossed my mind. The photo you are referring to is actually that of a Mottled Sculpin eating a smaller Mottled Sculpin which has eaten a shiner (likely a Duskystripe). This is apparent because the primarey prey in this photo lacks an Adipose fin, which all trout and salmon have.
