Me and 2 buddies are headin to the buffalo Friday to float and camp till Sunday, I've never floated the buffalo that I can remember and was wanting some pointers on which baits to use for smallmouth and goggle eye

Soft plastics usually do well, flukes, zoom lizards, senkos, various grubs and tubes. If the water is running strong like I think it is, you'll catch fewer but bigger fish on spinnerbaits and crankbaits with few snags. Never hurts to try a few top waters also. Have fun and be safe..

If it rains anymore we won't be going. I think it'd be hard to find a gravel bar to camp on. What color of spinnerbait and crank baits? And what size of crankbait?

You might as well forget about goggle eye when it gets hot. For smallies, I think the hotter and lower the better. They get stacked up in shady areas and in eddies or any where near current where they can pick off prey. I like floating jerkbaits ripped fast in the summer, but pretty much anything on a jighead will work. 1/8 oz is a good weight for the jighead.
