J-Doc Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I don't fish Beaver, but how is the bass fishery? Usually big bass lakes have a smaller average sized Bluegill population. Stunted bass lakes usually have lots of big Bluegill in them. Depends on who you ask. Some bank beaters will tell you it sucks. Yet 15-22lb sacks show up as the winner of local tournaments pretty consistently depending on time of year. So I'd say it's better than most say. It's just a very tough lake to fish and it's a conditions lake. It changes multiple times daily sometimes. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
rps Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Want large bluegills? Google "Lindy Rig." Use half night crawlers and slow drag (.4 -.5 mph) across points in the 10 to 25 foot depth range. Do not be surprised if you score a bonus walleye. bluebasser86 and kjackson 2
