Justin92297 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I was planning on heading down to Clearwater dam early Monday morning to try for walleye before heading to duck creek lake later in the day. Should I rethink fishing this section of the river after all the rain we're had?
Al Agnew Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Probably. They've raised it 2 feet in the last couple of days, and there is high, muddy water coming into the lake. River above the lake is still rising.
jdmidwest Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Skip Clearwater and spend the whole time at Duck Creek. Unless you just want to go over there and look. I doubt if the walleye would be around. Winter months are better for them and I never hear much about them over there. St Francois has been stocked for them, but I looked at the Patterson gauge yesterday and they had a 6 foot rise from Wed/Thurs rain.
