Members Beaverdamstore Posted July 4, 2015 Members Posted July 4, 2015 Put in at Bertrand and ran the boat up stream. Trolled a bit with flicker shad and caught several trout. Found a spot with a little current an floated some olive Micro Jigs under a bobber. Had a real good 1/2 day trip. They kept enough fish for dinner and released a dozen or more. Looks like the hot water did not kill all the fish. Jim
Amery Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 So there is current. You think a guy with a kayak and a fly rod would have a chance?
Members Beaverdamstore Posted July 7, 2015 Author Members Posted July 7, 2015 There is intermittent current lol. You should do good with a fly and yak. Todays rain may flood us again. Jim
PigSooner Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 That's great news! I was very concerned that all the hot water would be devastating to the trout in the river.
Members Beaverdamstore Posted July 9, 2015 Author Members Posted July 9, 2015 LOL here we go again. The gates are open this morning. Jim
