Members phins Posted February 6, 2007 Members Posted February 6, 2007 If anyone has been to the Park recently can they advise if the ice storms have screwed the stream up [trees down etc.] or if the Foundation has done any work to the Park this year. Thanks.
Seth Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 The park is fine. I been down the last two weekends in a row. About the only thing different is there are now some huge bolders in fast water below the cable. Trout like to hold right up in front of them or right behind them I have noticed.
Center Punch Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 as seth said they have put huge boulders in but they have done it the whole length of the park. they make for good holding areas now but watch out. those big ones will try to wrap you every time below the cable where the split river comes back into 1 again, they have cleaned out the bottom making it deeper. here there is one tree down from storms but everything else is normal. www.troutchapters.com >>>---------->(x) Jared
jjtroutbum Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Centerpunch, Wonder if they saw all of those pics you fellas were posting and decided that the fish need a handicap. Maybe we should forward a few threads to the people at Roaring River to give those fish a chance also.
