Crappie and Crankbaits

Not really targeting walleye right now, but caught 3 almost identical 16-17" fish pulling flickershad at about 2.5mph in 8-9' of water. Just on the ledge off the channel. All three came right in a row while we were out trolling for white bass.

Don't know about anyone else, but catching the whites starting about an hour before dark and it basically quits right at dark. I've been trolling with my big motor, a friend of mine been using his kicker with the same results. He's been going about 1.5 mph or less. He is using roostertails and shad raps. He said he had also caught a few walleye on the shad raps, but I don't know where, and I didn't see them.

Very nice; thanks for the report! I was down last weekend but came down with the stomach flu and a 103 fever and never got to wet a line before coming home Monday. Glad to see you are into fish, and in my book those are the best kind!
