Finally made it out on the water for some fishing.  It was fantastic, far better than I thought it would be.  Caught limits on both days, Friday it only took two hours.

Water Temp - 85

Depth - 5-25 fow, 5-10' deep

Bait - jigs, you know I only use jigs.  - used both blue glow and chart glow (grubs and stixs)

Pattern - trees, trees and more trees.  On Friday the water was a little over three feet high, about that on Saturday.  It was very difficult to find trees, only a few were sticking out of the water.  We searched like hawks to find them, but when we did it was game on!  We probably only fished 15-20 trees, that was all we could find!  focused fishing on the edge of the channel.  It should continue to get better as the lake comes down.

The bite was best from 7-9 - they still hit after nine, however it slowed down tremendously.

Good luck and go get 'em!

Leave a few for me, I have until October before I can play too.  Glad to hear they are still around and hungry.
