Good morning all. I have been trying to make a post since Monday, I couldn't get logged in and with the help with Phil he got me up and going. A BIG THANKS TO HIM!!! Me and the wife fished last Saturday and Sunday and here is our report. I haven't really done much reporting this summer cause I haven't really had any thing to post, our summer has been lacking of putting any fish in the boat, We as husband and wife fish some tournaments and haven't done very good at all in them, But last Saturday was good for the wife ( not in tournament  ) we start fishing about 4:30 AM and ran back in Son's creek and caught a few short fish and a couple of just keeper's  All on bluff's after that we ran back up around Rurak and started catching fish again more short fish but having fun catching fish about 6:30 wife hung into a fish and lost cause she is not the best at setting hook on fish, I told her that was a good fish and she needed to bear back and really set it, about 20 yrds on down the bank she set the hook again and before i could say set it again she is cranking and jerking I turned and looked in the water and I see a big flash and told her to keep her pole down and slow down cranking and keep the fish down , So I could get the net out of rod box upon getting net and trying to coach her I pulled to handle out of net and had to put net back together and she got fish up to boat and believe it or not I missed the fish the first dip and thought o crap if I don't land the fish she is going to KILL me second pass I got fish 3/4 into net and had to take third dip. But I finally got it. Now here is one proud husband and one HAPPY WIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can tell she whooped my butt that day  and that was perfectly good with me .

Very nice!  Won't be leaving her on the bank any time soon ...

Weighed in at 6 lbs 10 oz   I don't usually leave her on the bank other than if it's raining or to cold. She has turn into a great partner that's is for sure, We fish as much as we can together, make's for some great memories and nice to just talk. Our lives are very busy and that is our down time. Wouldn't change it for anyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
