Members JarheadFisherman0311 Posted August 27, 2015 Members Posted August 27, 2015 I have a tournament this weekend up at Cape Fair. Been a long time since I've fished up there. Judging from Eric Prey's video on youtube(which was extraordinary), it's pretty good up there right now. Was just looking for more opinions/reports to help me for the tournament. I heard an Okeechobee Craw Jig w/ a green pump trailer's been doing good, of course a Ned Rig, also heard there was a little buzzbait bite going on right now. Any information would be great! I appreciate it dearly everybody.
Codywskeeter1521 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I fished up there sat. I had a really hard time. Threw a buzzbait crank and jig. Caught one keeper on a buzzbait. But I've heard it's a day to day bite. Did catch shorts on the flat side of the river channel on a dd22. Also caught some fish under the bridge at bridge port using a wacky worm and my son caught some on a spoon. Not alot but hope it helps JarheadFisherman0311 and Champ188 2

Members bassmasteria Posted August 28, 2015 Members Posted August 28, 2015 I would recommend pre-fishing on Saturday if possible. The lake changes daily if not hourly. Codywskeeter1521 1
