crappie_adams83 Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Hey guys me and my fishing buddy are thinking of doing some fishing this weekend and was wondering how the bite is for crappie round the Bolivar landing area any info will be helpful thanks guys if every body had a pole and a fish on the line there would never be a war
Members dembones Posted September 10, 2015 Members Posted September 10, 2015 if you have a boat run up river and fish jigs in 2-5 ft of water around wood with branches .you won't need to cast, just have 5 or 6 ft of line out and flip. there is a muddy boat ramp way up the river by a bridge...p hwy maybe.....I would put in there and save a lot of time
Ketchup Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 thats McCracken Bridge. Its off of PP Hwy between RB and 83 Hwy on north side. Pretty good ramp and parking for smaller boats. Fish along the bluff around Bolivar Landing in 8 to 15 FOW. If you have a boat, troll small #5 Flicker Shads. That will get ya bit. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
crappie_adams83 Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 Thanks guys I really appreciate this and we do have a boat but we are limited to battery life with trolling motors if every body had a pole and a fish on the line there would never be a war
