Members justfishing Posted September 25, 2015 Members Posted September 25, 2015 Is anyone fishing Stockton Lake for bass on here? I haven't been on lake for a bit and all the post I have read is just on wallies or crappie.
Members ewlech Posted September 25, 2015 Members Posted September 25, 2015 I was out last Sunday for around 7 hours with the wife. Caught right at 37 with around 18 or so keepers, biggest was around 3 lbs. MIx between smallies, and lips with a few spots mixed in and 1 walleye. Fished from the state park to the dam, caught most of them on shallow long points. Most came on a Fishhead spin with a small swimbait in a shade color. the rest came on a 1/2oz jig and a Ned rig and a 300 Bandit crank bait.

Members ewlech Posted September 25, 2015 Members Posted September 25, 2015 I have been a long time "Lurker" and haven't contiributed up to this point. Learned alot from Sac River Jim's former posts and had some good laughs form Agressor in the past. I fish Stockton at least once per week and thought I should post some info that might help a few people as I have received much help form this site. zarraspook and mjk86 2
Members Jwd_bassin Posted September 25, 2015 Members Posted September 25, 2015 Are the bass still schooled up in deeper water? Or have they started moving back shallow? Will be headed down to fish the lake next week.
Members justfishing Posted September 27, 2015 Author Members Posted September 27, 2015 Fished from 7 to 4 today caught a butt load of 13 to 14 and 3/4 inch fish. None on top water in morning and a few on crank baits did best on shaky head and 7 inch finnese worm in timber flipping up to tree and letting it fall 20 to 30 ftw buddy did caught a few on 10 inch worms. Fished shallow and deep deep seemed better. Jwd_bassin 1
