Seth Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 I might be down Saturday also. My girlfriend is wanting to go, but we have to see what her work schedule is for next weekend. I'll let you know my plans for next weekend also once they pan out.
Members Wet Dreams Posted February 27, 2007 Members Posted February 27, 2007 If I go I'll just watch some of the people making fools of them selves for a little while. Than probly go to the trophy area to have the whole river to my self. I don't know maybe I'll fish for a hour or two. nah Opening day makes me feel like I'm fishing in the stands at the super bowl! Also flyrods are not to friendly on opening morning Still pissed about the one that got away!!!
Members jrbhc8 Posted February 27, 2007 Members Posted February 27, 2007 I guess I will chime in. If I get a chance to go, I won't be fishing for trout, I'll be fishing for locals. I'll be the guy with the snagging rod and treble hook tangling up all who have crowded me with my flyrod this past season. They know who they are. LOL jrbhc8 www.troutchapters.com jrbhc8 ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ | <°)))>< | <°)))>< | | ¿ >°)))><

The weather forcast not looking to bad right now lol. Hope crowds are not to bad. Will be at first hole with my fireplace. Stop by and say hello. See you on the stream Dan
Seth Posted February 27, 2007 Author Posted February 27, 2007 Darnit, I was hoping the stream would be clear enough so I could do some sight fishing but with all the rain we been getting I doubt it. Dano, let us know how the stream is looking. I'm curious. Don't forget your poncho's Thursday, looks like we are going to be just as wet as the fish if the weather holds up.
Members Dano Posted February 27, 2007 Members Posted February 27, 2007 Will do Seth and yes on them poncho's. I will try and post by afternoon tomorrow the 28th. Dan
Members Dano Posted February 28, 2007 Members Posted February 28, 2007 Just back from the stream. Water looked a little high compared to last fall.I saw lots of fish up and down the stream. Water was a little off olored but still able to see the fish. Saw lots of nice ones but no big wall hangers lol. The stream in general looks great. See all omorrow Dan
Seth Posted March 1, 2007 Author Posted March 1, 2007 Sounds like a winner to me. I'm getting all the gear packed together right now and put in the truck so I don't run off and forget it tomorrow.
