vonreed Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Just thought I needed to let someone know who can delete it. In case they don't know yet.
shawncat Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Now that's a shame. They must have some tricks up there sleeves because don't you have to have a valid e-mail to register? If so you'd think they would get caught.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 14, 2007 Root Admin Posted February 14, 2007 I think he (they) got mad cause I shut them down on OAF. Now they can't register and post on hunters either. I've gone from 20-40 spammer per day trying to register on OAF to 2-3 after the change. To register and post you have to go thru me- I ok all new members before they are active. More work for me but less handaches... like OHF. Over 30 posts yesterday and today. But they are gone.
shawncat Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Thanks Phil and Vonreed,I was'nt sure I should open post for fear of virus or worse fear of wife's footsteps behind me.
Terry Beeson Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Yeah, Shawncat, you should be very careful... If you open those posts wrong, your computer will be inundated with naughty pictures, offers for adult toys, and you will receive thousands of emails for more of the same at discount prices.... You'll also receive hundreds of emails from desperate women seeking men to fulfill their dreams. Then you will set up a meeting with one of them at a cheap motel who turns out to be a 6' 6" guy just out of prison named "Dawg." Then your wife will find all this, become extremely angry, leave you, take your brand new pickup, your house, furniture, and clean out your bank account, then demand another year's salary or more... and get it! You'll wind up living in a van... down by the river! Or so I'm told.... Now... seriously.... good for you, Phil. Thanks for taking on the extra work. Aeronikl Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 My appreciation to Phil or anyone else that keeps this Forum going in the right direction. It's great that we don't have to put up with all the spam and other crap you can get into on most sites. Oh...Terry....you wouldn't happen to have Dawg's email address? He may like to fish.
