Not Good News as to the Health of the Rivers

I will be at Sowbug on that Saturday for sure, but I could swing a trip from Jonesboro before that if necessary. It would be convienient for some people to have the get together then, but not for others I would think since some people will be involved in tying and other activities. I would think somewhere in Mt. Home for sure. If anybody wants to discuss anything about this with me, please PM me and I will get you my email address for quicker communication.

Also, we will need a name for this organization.

How 'bout a few weeks after Sowbug to give everyone a little more time to get their thoughts together and get over Sowbug?

As far as a name I think it would be a good thing to honor Chuck davidson. CC

I agree with CC. I doubt you get get a very many to commit during the Sowbug. If they aren't tying then they are probably fishing. If we had planned sooner, a seminar on this very subject probably could have been scheduled. At the same time I agree its time for action. As to a name. I think the "old man of the river" should have recognition. Chuck Davidson was the consummate "river keeper". I could only imagine if he were alive today he would be like that old Indian with a tear streaming down his face from that tv ad.

Yes, agreed Sowbug time is not good for me either. I have a FHNFH membership drive after SB at the Ramada, to enlighten all who attend what we are about and what our aims are.

I'm out of the state the week of March 25th through both weekends. I'll make time for it most any other week. But don't pass on that week because of me.
