Members Kano Posted February 14, 2007 Members Posted February 14, 2007 Message Forwarded From Kano I have really enjoyed reading all the good conversation regarding Lake Taneycomo. I am from Connecticut and have been flyfishing TMA catch and release mainly at Farmington and Housatonic Rivers in Northern CT. The Farmington is a similar cold water fishery to Lake Taneycomo. I have fished Taney a couple times while visiting my son who attends College of the Ozarks. Last time I fished Taney it was unbelievable. (lost count) I really appreciate the friendliness of others I spoke with on the Lake (river) I was wading each time. The tips and techniques mentioned in the articles posted are phenomenal. It greatly reduces the time and learning curve for this unique fishing opportunity. Thanks to all who contribute and share ideas. You guys are super. The trout health and size are awesome. I'm not sure if I am posting this correctly. Still trying to figure out how to navigate the forum. I think I've found a place I'll visit often. I will be coming down for a special event at the College. A parent player recognition for Basketball team members. My son is a freshman on the men's team. Hope to fish one or two times while I'm around. Hope to wade at some point. Think that could happen any time soon? Blessings, Bill Kane

Members Kano Posted February 14, 2007 Author Members Posted February 14, 2007 thanks guys... I'll be reading and learning. Is this fast reply the best way to continue in the forum. Terry.. where about in Ct are your cousins? Kano Dano; yeah New england is pretty... the trout in Farmington are strong but don't grow as huge as those I've seen in Taney. Count your blessings (your fish too) Kano
