was fishing 245 most of the day no whites or crappie only a few bass same way around high point I was there.every one should know the cove in the river past highpoint where lonely crappie was caught. Fish were on lock ?

I think I recognize that cove. I think at one time somebody had a flat bottom boat chained to a tree back there where the road comes down on the left. E.487th Rd runs close by if I am not too far off base. My rain gauge here in Joplin shows 5". I think the cat fishermen should be on high alert.

yes sir that is the cove was alot of whites that afternoon on the 245 bridge flat.

there is actually a house on the hill in that cove you can see now since the leaves have fallen.

yes the boat is usually there in warmer weather id say its a youngsters boat.

I was in that cove a couple of years ago during a torrential rain and thunderstorm huddled down against the bank.
