Randall Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 right on jj. i need to tie up 7 then. when you want em? Cute animals taste better.
jjtroutbum Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 Randall eight "so far" include one for yourself so that all return sets are the same...hopefully there will be a few more entries the actual number of flies for every one to tie will be determined when the sign up is over and a deadline will be set for tiers to get them done and mailed to me for redistribution... Glade you're excited tho so am I....lol Jon Joy ___________ "A jerk at one end of the line is enough." unknown author The Second Amendment was written for hunting tyrants not ducks. MrsDucky Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I would love to be in on this! Can I still get in? I'll have to think about what pattern, though... I can bring home the trout...fry it up in a pan...and never let you forget I caught it! 'Cause I'm a woman!
jjtroutbum Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 Absolutely Mrs.Ducky no tiers denied and all are welcomed. I was gonna have the sign up date a week from the original post but since there was a delay in responses ill give it more time the more tiers the better. Youll see when u get all the new flies back from every one else in the mail! Leonard Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 JJ... Have you decided on a due date?? Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
Zach Bearden Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I think we should have a limit on tyers instead of a due date? Is anyone against this? "Its clearly Bree time baby!" jjtroutbum Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 The only reason I think that a end of sign up needs to happen is the already limited number of responses that there have been. If this were more of a nation wide sight like a couple of the other giant forums out there then yes a limit could be set and filled really fast. That said I'm thinking "March 5th" will be the end of the sign up. Only because thats when I'll be back from Bennett after the opening. And "April 15" as a time to have your flies in the mail to me. Hopefully this isn't to rushed for anyone as it seems like there probably wont be a ton of flies to tie. Thanks again to everyone JJ Jon Joy ___________ "A jerk at one end of the line is enough." unknown author The Second Amendment was written for hunting tyrants not ducks. Randall Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 i suppose i could trade a p.t. soft hackle for one of those. Cute animals taste better.
