I grew up in east Ark fishing the lower white, Arkansas & Miss rivers. It's a different deal, that water has room to spread out more. It's the bottle neck areas that will get you. One of my dad's ducking buddy's drowned in the Miss. Back in the late 80's we had a severe weather trifecta of EF3 tornado in early December, 200 year flood event on Christmas Day & a blizzard for New Years. That was crazy
