We will make 2 gate changes at Table Rock Dam today.  The first one will be at 4 pm and the next one will occur at 6 pm.

At 4 pm, we will lower the 10 gates from 2.5 feet each with a spill rate of 33,000 cfs to 10 gates open 1.5 foot each with a spill rate of 20,000 cfs.  We believe Table Rock Lake's pool elevation  pool to be near 931.0 feet at that time.  The total release after this reduction in the opening will be approximately 33,500 cfs.

At 6 pm, we will lower the 10 gates to be open 0.5 foot each with a spill rate of 6,900 cfs.  We believe Table Rock's pool elevation to be near 930.9 feet at that time.  The total release after this reduction in the opening will be approximately 20,400 cfs.

We will hold at the 0.5 foot setting and total release near 20,400 cfs for a prolonged period of time. No additional changes will be needed unless an emergency occurs downstream, more rain falls, or until the lake falls under 920 feet.

The fall in Table Rock's pool level will likely be very slow over the next several days.  As our inflows continue to decrease, our 20,000 cfs release will allow Table Rock's pool to have a steady drop until we get below 920 and/or Bull Shoals reaches 684.
