ollie Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Yep, drove by the other day. Looks like crap! Like I said, we need a good rain to wash it down. Altough I did hear a rumor that the city was going to clean out some of the park or at least where those pics were taken which is by the ball fields. Danoinark Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Hopefully after the cleanup some of that can be used for structure and to enhance habitat....Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
drew03cmc Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I feel they should leave like 99% of that, and make the regs more stringent, stock some browns and make it a red ribbon stream if there is a forage base to do so. That looks very nice, and with all that timber, you could not help but to catch fish. Andy
Members turkeyhawk2005 Posted March 3, 2007 Members Posted March 3, 2007 well you could make "beaver ponds" ...it is bad every where .....i will try to be there i need to look at the calender
Members Davy Wotton Posted March 12, 2007 Members Posted March 12, 2007 My understanding from Tbird who is the president of the Neosho hatchery that stock that creek, is that there is very little if any carry over during the summer period there, way to warm and low water conditions. Not to mention the harvest of those fish during the fishing season. Davy.
ollie Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Tbird? You talking about Dave? The hatchery manager? Anyways, you nailed that right Davy.
