Minnows at Bagnell?

Is there anyplace to get minnows close to Bagnell at this time of year coming from Jeff City side?

theres a phillips 66 on the strip that sells minnows right next to the strip club and macdonalds hahaha  u cant miss it..

Okay, I know where McDonalds is, don't remember a Gentelmans Club there but I don't get up on the strip much since they re-routed 54.

Thinking if the forecast holds for next weekend I may go down one morning and fish off shore a bit.  If anyone has suggestions for this time of year I would love to hear them....

I was down there Monday morning scoping it out (which translates into I was too big of a pussy to stand in 8 degree weather on the dock begging for a crappie bite). The water was high, fast, and resembled chocolate milk. I was hoping to get up there in the boat next week and see if any of the big cat have moved in. Probably going to wait a couple weeks!
