Have a 2009 Pro Crafft 210DC with 225 Opti Max.

Been running four blade 23 pitch and motor at 3 and half inches below boat pad, Trying to get a little more top end speed, Put on three blade 26 pitch and motor 3 inches below pad. Boat came out of hole pretty good, RPM's came down from 5800 RPM's to 5400 RPM's at wide open throttle and ran a little slower ( but got to keep in mind water was a little rough yesterday ) Guy that was watching boat run said had tall rooster tail and really kicking out. Any ideas of what I can do to be able to run three blade? Also when letting off quickly boat really had bad torque steering,

I am thinking about dropping motor back down some but I know when i do that I am will lose more RPM's.

Any thoughts????

Try a 25p tempest plus. You seem to be to low. I have never ran a pro craft boat but from memory the hull is about like the old viper hulls. Right now is not a good time to try to prop one out. You need to wait till the water gets back to around 65-70 degrees. You prop one right now in this cold of water you will pull your hair out when it gets hot. Some boats just take a lot of time to get right. Not every prop run the same, even brand new out of the box with same pitch. When the water temp rise back up you need to run all kinds and types to find what works with your pad. You'll find one that's close to working. Then you need to find some one to work on your prop. It can't be just any guy that says he can do it. So get a few names of ones then call them and see if they can give you some reference names. There are a lot of prop guys with an anvil and a dead blow hammer but absolutely don't know what they are doing. Good luck!!!

Generally.   A tempest prop will be 1 pitch larger than the trophy ? Is it a A40-45-47-48 series?   Sounds like 1/2 inch low with rpm at 5400 and this kind of water temp  but I don't see it running 5800  .... Just my advice but I'd try a. 25 trophy.  And raise motor.   Trophy prop can run with or even better than a tempest as rake raises back of boat out of water better .   Keep the 24 for dog days of summer.

Definitely this. Sure you should try a tempest but I'd expect a trophy 24-25p to be where you need to be. Also don't assume full trim is the fastest for all boats. Trim it all the way, get it leveled off on speed, then bump the trim down while watching the gps.
