Jmontgo1246 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Looks like nice weather this week...plan to come down to Stockton on Thursday. Hopefully water will just be 5-6ft high by then. Was curious what water color was from orleans trail marina to state park to googer...clear or stained? Are all ramps accessible (orleans trail, state park)? Will be bass fishing...will post a report after my trip. Thanks, Jeremy
MOPanfisher Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Heck I may take off work early and throw a rogue from the bank by the dam for a while. Seems like a little early for the dam but gotta do something to cure the fever. Of course if I catch a wally the fever will just get worse. It would take half a day to clear my boat off of all the acumulated junk from winter. terryj1024 and LOGROG 2
Members lowlyfisher Posted February 16, 2016 Members Posted February 16, 2016 All ramps are accessible, current lake level is 872.59 (5.5 foot high), and have been generating around 17 hours per day. Not sure when the outflows will slow down. Heck of a north wind today and switching out of the south but still cranking most of the week. Wouldn't want to be on the water much this week unless you like getting motion sick. MDC started refreshing their cedar piles this week but with this wind I'm not sure how much they'll get done.
Jmontgo1246 Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Thanks for the update...i may wait until Sunday to go...winds are supposed to not be as bad. Hard to not go when it's supposed to be in the 70's
Members lundone Posted February 18, 2016 Members Posted February 18, 2016 As of Monday the water temp at Mutton was 41 and risibility was about 18". Water temp had risen over 3 deg. in one week.
