Launched at Orleans Trail at 7:30 am...starting with a jerkbait on mainlake points from Crabtree to the darn...water was 42-44 degrees and roughly 3ft of visibility.  No action there so headed up the little sac arm to Maze Creek and went about 2/3rd of the way back to fish some channel swings...water was very stained (less than a foot of visibility) but warmer at 47-48 degrees.  Threw RK and jig around a few points with no luck so went to check out the bridge in the very back...same water conditions and saw a few fish hanging in the channel by the bridge...threw jig and RK again with no luck.  Not sure if it was anyone on here but did see a boat past the bridge flipping willow trees and bushes...maybe he was on to something??  Didn't like the dirty water so headed back out to the main lake and started fishing bluff ends in the little sac back towards the darn..water cleared up once I got past state park marina...maybe 2 ft visibility.  Was switching between stickbait, jig, a-rig, and Lo Spin (underspin).  Caught my only 15" fish on jerkbait on the inside of a bluff end.  After I caught it the boat drifted up towards the bank and noticed on the graph a small school of bait fish with a couple fish streaking through it...first active fish I had seen on the graph all day.  Tried to get the others to bite but to no avail.  Ran with the bluff pattern but no more bites...fished all the way over to the mile long bridge but the water got dirty again.  Finished the day around 5pm by Orleans trail marina..water was 45 by the marina and almost 48 in the very back...same 3 ft visibility but no action in there on the same baits.  After getting home and reading reports it looked like I should of stayed in the stain water a little more....oh well.  Nice day to be on the water.  Plan to head back down on Friday...hopefully this cold front doesn't mess things up to much.

Nice report. It's always nice to be on the water, and to catch a fish, when this time of year can be very tough, is a bonus. Thanks for the report and pictures.
