Leonard Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 While everybody was sleeping this morning... I got to the water... ALL 4 UNITS WERE OFF I got there about 12:30 this morning and the was 1 guy already there.. he was fish the big hole.. While I started in the guanlet and fished my way down.. first tried a white wooly.. nothing next tried a black unwieghted pine squirrel. and few bumps but no fish.. so the a put a cone head (still black).. picked up 6 well I went down and started talking to him.. he said he caught 20 fish on a mohair leech (brown).. well I put one on and landed 3 fish.. before loosing it on the rocks.. well the I went with a light olive (almost a tanish brown) pine squirrel.. well for about the next 30 minutes.. it was non-stop..I thinl I landed over 20-25 fish... then they shut off.. well I was going to try to fish the lower end of chute 1 (in the flats).. changed over to a white mohawk.. picked up 5 more.. made my way to chute 1.. and changed over to a zonker (gray).... well I maybe caught another 10-15 fish.. by then it was 4:30... so Im home now.. good fishing!!! Time for a nap Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 23, 2007 Root Admin Posted February 23, 2007 Any size? I assume they had fat bellies?
BrianK Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 atta boy! was wondering where the Leonard Files have been lately. i'm no math whiz but that sounds like 40+ fish in 4 hrs...not bad. Maybe more rain tomorrow will keep the shad suckin through. b
Aeronikl Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Leonard, I hope the price of the "light olive, almost a tanish brown" pine squirrels I ordered from you earlier in the week hasn't gone up. Gary
Leonard Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 Phil... all the fish had big bellies... as for as lenght.. there were all about 14-16in.. had a few that could have been under 12.. Aeronikl... humm... I'll only double the price if you share with Terry..LOL http://www.taneycomonights.com
Terry Beeson Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 That should LOWER the price, Leonard... since I can't catch anything with them...
